4/4/2023 WE DID IT!!!!! We are now a fully active ship, NCC-325306!

 4/4/2023 Updated manual 3.5 is now active with all the new commission info and further details on our ship and our mission.

 4/4/2023 Learned there is a Comic Con coming in August in our area. Reaching out to them to see about tables, they are charging for them but as we are NP need to see if we can get something else. If all else fails, we will go down and have flyers with us.

 4/16/2023 XO attended the R1 CO/XO meeting as CO is now working weekends.

 4/19/2023 Submitted two project requests over to the SFCoE. One for a 3Dprint Commission plaque, and the other one for a sample of a webpage logo for ussmountaineer.org website.

 4/22/2023 R1 Awards for Shyann Converse Let me help, for charity support, and Ambassadorial award for the Senior Services group Putnam Aging Program. We work with them to support their pet care program for senior citizens.

 4/23/2023 Creating several social media accounts for the ship trying to get the ship out more. Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook page to with the already existing Facebook group. Created, YELP business listing LinkedIn business account, Google Business Account, doing everything we can to get our name out there. This is a tough area to be in geographically, the core values are not easy to deal with nor is the fact we are limited in the area of Cons / shows etc.

 4/25/2023 Got web logo from SFCoE that Gerhard had done after making adjustments to the first draft. I am impressed with the logo and will be using them to get some possible department logos made in the future.

 4/25/2023 Found out about a mini comic con going on at a local library on May 6th, emailing to see about getting a table or dropping off flyers for the event.

 4/28/2023 XO attended the 1st BDE meeting on zoom as the OIC of 130th MSG and the OIC of the 8th BN 1st BDE.

 4/30/2023 Both newsletters added to the R1 Newsletter exchange. 

4/29/2023 So far not one mention of our Commission in the Region 1 FB groups public/private/or CO/XO. No congrats from the RC or VRC, including no emails. We Commissioned on 4/4/2023

 At the R1 CO/XO meeting 4/16/2023 not one mention of the fact we have fully commissioned.

 We would love to be able to request a waiver to be moved to a different region, without having to make a physical change of address. We have never been made to feel welcomed here in R1. I may just write one detailing all the issues we have had in Region 1. The worst you can say is no. But there will always be exceptions to every rule. and with enough detail you can see how we feel R1 is a toxic environment. As a CO who has been classified as disabled since childhood, I rarely have ever used the discrimination card in anyway. But in this case, I am really starting to feel that myself, my xo, and my ship are being discriminated against by this region. It is sad because you tossed out (of SFI) the only member of the Region 1 staff to take any interest in helping us and being in contact with us.
